Tara Veit und Thomas Dötsch
Change of management at Fuchshuber Techno-Tex
Tara Veit will hand over to Thomas Dötsch from 2023

At the end of the year, Tara Veit leaves Fuchshuber Techno-Tex at her own request. After almost six years as managing director, she is handing over management of the specialist for high-performance textile articles for body protection to Thomas Dötsch. Together with regional partners, he wants to make the company more international.

Transformation, rejuvenation and stability
In 2017 Tara Veit, coming from DuPont de Nemours, took over the management of Fuchshuber Techno-Tex. After company founder Friedrich Fuchshuber had sold his company to Concordia for reasons of age, the transformation from an owner-managed family business to a subsidiary of a group of companies was on the agenda. Tara Veit: "I started out to staff Fuchshuber with a highly motivated team and to set up the company in a structured, digitized and economically secure manner. I have achieved these goals.”
In addition, the 52-year-old relied on cooperation with regional partners and further pushed the high flexibility and innovative capacity of Fuchshuber Techno-Tex. Another target, combined with the primarily regional procurement, was the company's focus on sustainability.
"We would like to thank Tara Veit very much for her strong commitment to Fuchshuber and the entrepreneurial vision with which she has led the company's transformation," says Concordia CEO Carl Baekelandt. "We wish her every success and all the best for her further professional career."

Internationalization with strong partners
Thomas Dötsch will succeed Tara Veit in January 2023. He has experience in the field of personal protective equipment (PPE) and flame and heat protection textiles for the fire brigade, police, military and protection against accidental arcing. Before joining Fuchshuber in October 2022, he managed the sealing and insulation specialist Frenzelit for more than a decade.
"I'm looking forward to the new challenge of shaping the future of Fuchshuber with a highly motivated young team," says Thomas Dötsch. Together with the network of regional partners, he wants to make Fuchshuber internationally successful.
