Reliable protection with maximum comfort:
Fuchshuber combines function and wearability:

Fuchshuber Techno-Tex looks back on four successful days at A+A in Düsseldorf. At the trade fair, the company presented new developments in cut and stab protection as well as flame retardancy. The German manufacturer of high-performance knitted fabrics and textile protective solutions considers the major occupational safety event in early November 2025 a clear success. Fuchshuber’s consistent focus on pairing advanced protective performance with exceptional comfort resonated strongly with the target audience.

High visitor frequency at the stand
At A+A, Fuchshuber Techno-Tex exhibited at the joint booth of the Concordia Textiles Group, of which the company has been a part since 2017.
Daniel Krull, Sales Manager at Fuchshuber Techno-Tex, highlights the broad spectrum of visitors:
“This year, retailers, clothing manufacturers, end users and public authorities all approached us with the same core request: more protection combined with outstanding comfort.”
He adds that the audience was highly international. Alongside visitors from across Europe, numerous attendees from Asia and Latin America came to learn more about Fuchshuber’s solutions.

Clear focus topics
The company’s product portfolio is centered on textile solutions for body protection, particularly in the underwear segment. Under the CUTEX® brand, Fuchshuber also offers ready-made garments for the PPE sector.
• Flame retardancy: Reliable protection for demanding environments
• Cut and stab protection: Maximum safety in critical situations

Selected product highlights
In addition to its core areas, Fuchshuber showcased several product highlights in Düsseldorf.
“Purfi® was often the starting point for in-depth discussions,” says Krull. Purfi® blends recycled and virgin aramid fibers into high-performance yarns containing up to 30% recycled content. The gentle mechanical processing preserves fiber quality entirely, ensuring that the yarns deliver the same performance level as virgin aramid. Purfi® is currently used primarily in flame-retardant underwear and has proven its effectiveness in piqué shirts, interlock fabrics and fleece products.
Another premiere at A+A was Fuchshuber’s new identity protection mask. It combines identity protection, cut resistance and flame resistance in a single product.
“We developed it based on direct feedback from police and security forces,” Krull explains. The mask is lightweight, breathable and customizable. From nose level upward, integrated cut protection provides additional safety — previously, this required a separate scarf. The flame-retardant material also offers reliable protection against hazards such as thrown incendiary devices, including Molotov cocktails.
A sweater made from a new material blend gave visitors a glimpse into future flame-retardant solutions. “Our prototype combines Nomex® and wool,” Krull notes. “Alongside protective performance, it provides additional warmth and therefore greater comfort — reflecting our core belief that PPE can only fulfil its purpose if people genuinely enjoy wearing it.”
